Holt is all too familiar with alcoholics, his father was one, and he refuses to countenance what Felicity is doing.

About a year ago my editor told me it was time to start a new series. It wasn’t easy to let go of the Cowboys series, especially since I still had four orphans to go, but I had an idea that had occurred to me several years earlier.
